RG IS THE OG - 66 HD Shovelhead

I bought this bike off a guy from Hamburg, New York USA. It was advertised on Chopperswapper from what I remember and seemed like a really good deal. At the time I was going a deal on a full dresser '72 Shovelhead but it fell through. So this was the perfect opportunity for me to pick this one up. I knew straight away that I wanted to change it up and have a go at building my first big twin Harley. 

Cohen Arthur at Lloyd's Chopper Shop helped me out massively with bringing it over. If you are in Australia and want to bring a bike over I would highly recommend Cohen.

The bike rocked up and straight away I stripped it down to the engine, frame and gearbox. I started off with the front end and then worked my way to the back of the bike. Most of the parts are custom or have been modified. Some of the notable custom parts on the bike are the foot pegs, brake setup with 'hidden' master cylinder, Lee-style-ish foot clutch, Offset Jones tank, sissy bar, battery box and gearshift lever. 

Ryan now owns the bike and if you live on the Sunny Coast you'll probably see him tearing down the streets.
